She followed that passion and has continued to develop her skills over the last 27 years, learning new hair, nail, and makeup techniques to bring the latest trends and traditions to life for her clients. Today, Darlene is owner and operator of Hair & Nail Gallery, combining her passion for beauty and creativity with a clear focus on customer service.<br /><br /><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] --><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] -->In 1993, Darlene opened the doors to Hair & Nail Gallery. Darlene focuses on each client, giving them personalized attention to enhance their natural beauty. In addition to styling hair, she specializes in hair color, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. In 2004, she expanded her business to include D.G. Bead Designs, where she designs and makes custom jewelry.<br /><br /><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] --><!-- [et_pb_line_break_holder] -->Darlene formalized her education at The Creative School of Hairdressing in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, and attended Asnuntuck Community College and Manchester Community-Technical College to study business management. She has remained up-to-date with the latest trends in hair care, color, cuts, and styling by attending numerous seminars and participating in learning opportunities throughout her career. Along with salon experience, Darlene worked with models as hair and makeup artist for photo shoots and portfolios. She also worked as a hair-styling and coloring educator for L'ANZA Healing Hair Care.
